The Smoke

The prints came back and it was a dissapointed, looks like I have to invest in a new camera. This was one of the best prints that came out of the roll, it was taken with my lensbaby (which I haven't taken advantage of), guess I'll get a new camera post some more pictures later.

Two weeks had gone by and not a single cigarrete had touched my lips. Yesterday I decided to take a cigarret break, and my throat got dry again. This morning my throat was a bit dry, that was the reason why I quit smoking for those two weeks, so I'll be forced to try and drop it again. Tonight I get to watch a movie (haven't decided which one yet), drink some vodka & cranberry, and then hit the pillow and call it a day.

Tasty Tuesday

Today my 22 year old camera (Pentax ME Super) received a gift, I spoiled her with a 35/70mm lens. This will give me much needed depth from a shorter lens. I'm waiting for my b&w film to come back with the pictures, (I'm excited and can't wait to get them back); I'll be taking a look at how my new "lens baby" fairs and my fish eye lens, here is a picture of my camera and her present.

After The Weekend

Mexican poker night was the setting for my dear friends and those that I consider family on a Saturday . We started with a potluck which offered enchiladas con salsa verde, mole, ceviche de camaron, and two desserts, jello and cheesecake. Everyone was all smiles at the table when it was time to eat, Diana brought the mole, Hector dessert, Felipe brought the Ceviche, and my lovely girlfriend made the enchiladas from scratch, the food was great. After dinner we played poker, and the girls had the upper hand all night. Diana won the first round and the second round Felipe, it was a great night, we have to do it again.

Saturday afternoon we took a trip to Disneyland, made sure our annual pass was put to good use. Great weekend with my friends and my girlfriend.
